Traditional Market

I'm Sharon from the Green Team Indonesia.

I want to talk about traditional market. Nowadays, people shops at the mall or supermarket more often instead of shopping at the traditional market. There is the disadvantage and the advantage going to the mall then going to the traditional market. You can see the photo I posted. That is one of the traditional markets here in Bali - Indonesia. These are my opinions about both of them:

The disadvantage of shopping in the mall is that the price is expensive and the foods they are selling is not pure.

The disadvantage of shopping in the traditional market is that the place is hot and the place stink for most people.

The advantage shopping in the mall is that the workers are trained well and the place is fresh or cool.

The advantage shopping in the traditional market is that the prices there are really cheap and the food are pure.

What do you think? Do you like to shop in the mall or traditional market? 

Well I think it's better to shop in the traditional market because the sellers in the traditional market really needs money so we help them by buying the things there. Besides shopping in the traditional market means that we can buy local fruits and vegetables. It means the sellers save money in transportation, taxes etc comparing if they have to import fruits and vegetables outside the country. So, we also save the environment by shopping in the traditional market. This is one of the ways to spread the word of kindness to environment and people. Agree?
