The Lady in My Garden

Patricia here! Today, I want to talk to you about a Lady bug that I found in my garden. 

So as you all know, ladybugs are beetles. Some people are a fan of ladybugs because of its color and its cute polka dots, but farmers are fans of ladybugs because ladybugs eats plant-eating insects such as aphids.

Our Visit to the Orphanage for the Blind

Few days ago, we went to the foundation of blind people and we will tell you what happened in there. On Wednesday of July 17th 2013, we went to an orphanage of blind people. There, we met many of kids and teenagers that are blind. They sang and show their talents to us. Some of them were playing the keyboard, and drum, and some of them sang.

Our Visit to JAWA POS - RADAR BALI Newspaper

Guess what? The Green Team Indonesia was interviewed by Jawa Pos newspaper. Jawa Pos is a very famous newspaper in Indonesia. It is also awarded as the best newspaper in the world for young readers! So, today, we went to Jawa Pos' representative office in Bali (it is called Radar Bali).

Today, we're going to talk to you about teaching in the local market. Almost every Saturday, The Green Team Indonesia teaches the children who work in the local market. We teach many kind of things, like: reading, writing, Math, English and craft.

Craft at Badung Market: Stick Creation!

Hey, my name is Javier.

I want to share my experience when I went to Badung market to teach how to make a pencil case and photo frame from ice cream sticks. By the way, Badung market is the largest traditional market here in Denpasar. I usually go there for teaching poor children with the Green Team Indonesia. Those children work as 'buruh suwun' or carrying our shopping stuffs for money. Most of them cannot read or write.

A Visit to SOSRO TEA-BOTTLING FACTORY!

Hi Greensters!
It's a 4 hectare factory in Gianyar Bali

I'm Chloe from the Green Team Indonesia.

On the 1st of July 2013, we went to 'Pabrik Teh Botol Sosro' which is in Gianyar - Bali. This is a very famous brand of ready-to-drink tea packaged in bottles. The Green Team Indonesia has a great chance to visit its factory and see directly how the process of bottling the tea.

Tips on How to be Responsible as Kids

In dictionary, responsible means 'having an obligation to do something as part of a job or role'. As a kid, we have to be responsible also so that we can be a responsible adult one day.
