Surfer Girl & Yayasan Konservasi Alam Nusantara: Orang Utan (part 2)

Photo session in Kuta Beach after the event
Hey Greensters!

Patricia here :) This is the second part of the previous article about the coral reefs. As mentioned earlier, we went to an event held by Surfer Girl and The Nature Conservancy (TNC). In Indonesia, TNC comes with the name of Yayasan Konservasi Alam Nusantara (YKAN). They talked about small things we can do to help them to protect endangered animals around us.

Can you spot the Don Antonio
Blanco's signature?
Hey Greensters!

Wow it’s been a while, hasn't it? Well here we go, a new experience to tell you guys.

Last week, The Green Team Indonesia went to The Blanco Renaissance Museum to give our books titled as ‘Craftpreneur Junior: Serunya Menghasilkan Uang dari Dapur’ (How to earn money from your kitchen) and Chefpreneur Junior: Serunya Menghasilkan Uang dari Kerajinan Tangan’ (How to earn money from crafting) because Mr. Mario Blanco was one of endorsers for the books.

Receiving the "2014 International Young Eco-Hero Awards"

Dear Greensters,

Honorable Mention - 2014 International Young Eco-Hero Awards

It is actually a late post about one of our achievements to date. We would like to notify you that we (Patricia and Vanessa) were awarded as ones of the young people to receive "2014 International Young Eco-Hero Awards" from Action for Nature, an International non-profit organization based on San Francisco - USA. This organization was founded by Mr. Shimon Schwarzschild, an environmental activist, in 1984.

Volunteering: The School for Deaf Children (Part 2 - end)

Dear Greensters,

Visiting a school for deaf children was one of our inspiring moments. We make friends with them. They are so clever. In one video, you can watch how Mrs. Dede (the teacher) greeted us with "today, let's learn together" and "thank you" in a sign language.

Volunteering: The School for Deaf Children (Part 1)

Dear Greensters,

It's me Javier.  A couple of months ago, we went to a special school that is for people who cannot talk. They also cannot hear well. Both disabilities make them cannot speak well. They use a sign language when they communicate to each other. The name of the school is SLB-B Jimbaran - Bali. The school was opened since May 7th, 1984.
